Recoiling water garden hoses eliminate having to hassle with heavy, tangled garden hoses. No more having to wind them back up. Available in standard clear green, the hose has a 3/8" diameter in standard size and 1/2" diameter in the commercial grade size. Each hose has standard brass fittings on each end which can be connected to each other or to any standard outdoor hose attachment. It can also be attached indoors to any sink with a sink adapter sold at most hardware stores (not included). It is rated at 100 psi (water pressure rating) -- better pressure than your ordinary 60-80 psi garden hose. It is also certified as drinking water safe! Suitable for jobs around the house, garden, garage, boat, horse, stable, lawn, RV, camping or wherever a light-weight, compact hose is needed. Stores in a 3" x 24" (3" X 16" for 25 foot hose) compact space and weighs less than two pounds!
The main difference in the grade of hose you buy (standard or commercial) is the diameter of the hose itself. The standard 3/8" diameter hoses have 100 psi water pressure and put out 75-80% of the water that your ordinary garden hose. These hoses are great for washing the car, watering the plants and other small jobs. The commercial grade (1/2" diameter) hoses put out the same volume of water as your ordinary hose but with better water pressure (also 100 psi). These hoses are great if you need to fill up a pool, use it for business purposes, or other jobs that require larger volumes of water.
This polyurethane hose material has outstanding memory and flexibility. The hose is incredibly tough and resistant to abrasion, over-stretching and kink damage. They are extremely flexible and lightweight and much easier to use than than an ordinary 20-30 pound garden hose. It more than pays for itself by not having to buy a hose reel and constant replacements. It will retain it's coil for the life of the hose!
